Set the course as Master on board our modern oil/chemical tanker fleet trading worldwide. Take full command of ship, crew, cargo and navigation, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations at all times.
- Key responsibilities:
- Overall command of the vessel, crew management and welfare
- Safe navigation, voyage planning and watchkeeping oversight
- Ensure safe cargo operations for oil/chemical cargoes
- Implement and maintain ISM, ISPS and company procedures
- Oversee deck maintenance and seaworthiness of the vessel
- Liaise with owners, charterers, agents and port authorities
- Lead safety drills and promote a strong safety culture on board
- Requirements:
- Valid Master (FG) CoC, meeting STCW requirements
- Recent experience as Master or Chief Officer on oil/chemical tankers
- Valid tanker (oil/chemical) endorsements and STCW safety courses
- Strong command of English, spoken and written
- Proven leadership, ship handling and emergency response skills
- Good record of safe operations and compliance
