OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Officer for a chemical tanker trading in Europe & UK. Sail with us on a well-managed vessel, supporting safe and efficient cargo and deck operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead deck crew and ensure safe daily operations
- Plan and supervise cargo loading, discharging and tank cleaning
- Maintain stability, ballast operations and cargo calculations
- Oversee navigation watches and bridge team management
- Ensure compliance with safety, ISM, vetting and company procedures
- Monitor maintenance of deck equipment and cargo systems
Requirements
- Valid Chief Officer license (unlimited)
- Strong experience on chemical tankers
- Valid STCW certificates and tanker/chemical endorsements
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and leadership skills
