Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a PSV operating offshore the United Kingdom. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on C/O with strong deck and cargo skills, good bridge management practice, and a solid safety mindset.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in safe navigation and overall vessel operations.
- Plan and supervise deck and cargo/DP-related operations.
- Lead and manage deck crew, ensuring safe work practices.
- Oversee stability, loading, discharge, and ballast operations.
- Maintain deck equipment, safety gear, and documentation.
- Support implementation of SMS, drills, and emergency response.
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Mate / Chief Officer STCW license for offshore service.
- Previous experience as C/O or 2/O on PSV or similar offshore vessels.
- Valid Full DP certificate
- European national preferably
- All mandatory STCW certificates and valid medical fitness.
- Good English communication skills and strong safety focus.
