We are looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer (2/E) for oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer to keep all engine room machinery running safely and efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in daily operation and maintenance of all engine room and auxiliary equipment
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance as per PMS
- Monitor and record engine performance, fuel and lube oil consumption
- Supervise engine room crew and ensure safe working practices
- Ensure compliance with flag, class, company and international regulations
- Support bunkering operations and pollution prevention procedures
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Engineer (Motor) license, STCW III/2 or equivalent
- With 1 year with Operator
- Tanker experience on oil/chemical tankers
- Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker/endoresments and medical certificates
- Good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Strong safety mindset and team player attitude
