Join OSM Thome as an Electrician (ELEC) onboard an Offshore PSV operating out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment onboard, supporting safe and reliable vessel operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic systems
- Monitor and maintain power generation and distribution systems
- Ensure safe operation of switchboards, motors, and control panels
- Support deck and engine departments with electrical work as required
- Keep accurate records of electrical work, tests, and inspections
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Electrician on offshore vessels (PSV experience preferred)
- Valid STCW certificates and relevant Electro-Technical / Electrician license
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical and control systems
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for offshore work and willing to work in rotation
