Step into a key navigation role as 2nd Officer onboard a modern PSV working offshore from Aberdeen. At OSM Thome you will be part of a professional bridge team, supporting safe and efficient operations for our offshore clients.
- Key responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watch and ensure safe ship handling
- Assist the Chief Officer with cargo operations and stability
- Plan and update voyage and DP-related documentation
- Maintain navigational equipment, charts and publications
- Support safety drills, permit to work and toolbox talks
- Ensure compliance with company, flag and international regulations
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer / OOW (Deck) CoC, suitable for PSV operations
- PSV / offshore vessel experience preferred
- DP certification (DP Induction / DP Unlimited preferred)
- All mandatory STCW certificates and valid seagoing medical
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a small team
