Requirements
- Degree in Law, Business, International Relations, Accounting, Audit, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in Compliance, AML/KYC, Sanctions, or Trade Controls.
- Knowledge of OFAC, EU, and UK/OFSI sanctions frameworks.
- Experience with KYC, due diligence, and risk assessments.
- Familiarity with screening tools such as World-Check, Dow Jones, SeaSearcher, or similar.
- Understanding of AML, Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABAC), and compliance controls.
- Internal audit or controls testing experience will be considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct KYC, due diligence, and beneficial ownership reviews for clients, suppliers, and crew.
- Perform sanctions and trade control screening for counterparties, vessels, and voyages.
- Review complex ownership structures and assess compliance risks.
- Maintain and improve compliance screening processes and systems.
- Support conflict-of-interest, gifts & hospitality, and anti-corruption compliance activities.
- Monitor regulatory developments and provide compliance guidance to the business.
- Assist with compliance training, awareness initiatives, and policy implementation.
- Support compliance matters relating to corporate transactions and business projects.
- Prepare compliance reports and maintain accurate records.
