Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on an AHTS vessel trading in North Sea waters. We are looking for a competent and safety-focused officer to support bridge and deck operations in demanding offshore conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Stand navigational watch and ensure safe vessel operations
- Assist with anchor handling, towing and supply operations
- Plan and monitor routes, position, and weather conditions
- Maintain charts, publications and bridge equipment
- Assist in safety drills, ISM and permit to work procedures
- Support loading, discharging and deck crew activities as required
Requirements
- Valid STCW OICNW (Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch) license
- Recent experience as 2/O or Navigating Officer, preferably on AHTS or offshore vessels
- Valid offshore and medical certificates
- Strong focus on safety and good bridge team skills
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Fit and prepared to work in harsh North Sea conditions
