Join OSM Thome as Pumpman on a chemical tanker sailing in HRA. We are looking for an experienced seafarer to operate and maintain cargo pumps and pipelines, supporting safe and efficient cargo operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor cargo pumps, lines, valves, and manifolds during cargo operations
- Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs on cargo pumps and related equipment
- Assist deck officers and crew during loading, discharging, stripping, and tank cleaning
- Ensure safe handling of chemicals and follow all safety and pollution prevention procedures
- Keep pump room and cargo areas clean, safe, and well-organized
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Pumpman on chemical tankers
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for service
- Good knowledge of cargo pumping systems and chemical handling
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work well in a team
