Sail as 2nd Officer on Offshore AHTS in Romania with OSM Thome.
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 2nd Officer for an Offshore AHTS vessel trading in Romania. If you are confident on the bridge, familiar with anchor handling operations, and ready for safe and efficient offshore work, we want you on board.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Officer with navigation, watchkeeping, and shipboard operations
- Stand bridge watch, ensuring safe navigation and compliance with COLREGs
- Support anchor handling, towing, and supply operations as per offshore procedures
- Maintain navigational equipment, charts, and publications up to date
- Assist with safety drills, emergency procedures, and crew training
- Ensure company and client safety standards are followed at all times
Requirements
- Valid 2nd Officer (OOW) license, compliant with STCW
- Offshore / AHTS experience
- Valid STCW basic and advanced safety courses, including offshore certificates as required
- DP FULL
- Medical fitness certificate and valid seafarer documents
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team
