Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer onboard an Offshore PSV in Brazil. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on leader to support safe and efficient vessel operations, cargo handling and deck crew management.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in all shipboard operations and navigation
- Plan and supervise deck crew work and maintenance
- Oversee cargo, deck operations and DP-related duties as required
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and industry rules
- Maintain deck and safety equipment, including lifesaving and firefighting gear
- Support bridge watchkeeping and vessel maneuvering
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer (or equivalent) license for offshore/PSV operations
- Previous experience as C/O on PSV or similar offshore vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Good DP awareness/experience (DP certificate preferred)
- Strong leadership, safety focus and good English communication skills
