Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a PSV operating offshore Brazil. We are looking for a safety-minded, hands-on leader to support the Master, manage deck operations and cargo, and ensure smooth, efficient vessel performance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Master in the safe navigation and operation of the vessel
- Plan and supervise deck crew and deck maintenance
- Oversee cargo, loading/unloading, and stability on PSV operations
- Lead and support safety drills, permit to work, and HSE routines
- Maintain charts, publications, and navigational equipment
- Ensure proper record keeping, reports, and logbooks
Requirements
- Valid Chief Officer license, meeting STCW requirements
- Proven experience as C/O, preferably on PSV or offshore vessels
- Strong knowledge of DP operations and offshore field work
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Strong leadership, communication, and safety focus
- All required offshore and medical certificates valid for Brazil
