OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a PSV operating offshore Angola. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and ensure safe, reliable and efficient running of all machinery and systems on board.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer in day-to-day engine room operations and maintenance
- Monitor and maintain main engines, auxiliaries, pumps and related equipment
- Carry out planned maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
- Keep engine room logs and records updated and accurate
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and vessel procedures
- Support bunkering, transfers and other engine department operations as required
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2) CoC, suitable for offshore/PSV operations
- Previous experience as 2/E on PSV or similar offshore vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and offshore medical
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong safety awareness and good teamwork skills
