Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on an LNG tanker trading in Brazil. You will be part of the engine team, supporting safe and efficient operation of all machinery and systems onboard.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, generators and auxiliary machinery
- Monitor engine room equipment, record parameters and report any abnormalities
- Carry out planned maintenance and repairs as assigned by the 2/E and Chief Engineer
- Ensure engine room is kept clean, safe and in good working order
- Follow company procedures, safety rules and environmental regulations at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer (3/E) license, STCW compliant
- LNG or tanker experience preferred
- All required STCW certificates, valid medical and seaman’s book
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for teamwork and willing to follow safe working practices
