To provide effective claims support service in accordance with the established Crew P&I procedures under supervision of the Department’s Team Lead


Key Responsibilities:

  • Securing the endorsement of payments to accounting department for reimbursement of the billing/invoices.
  • Retaining a monitoring sheet for all active and closed medical cases.
  • Preparation of reports (KPIs) and statistics for comparison and monitoring progress for all cases including disability claims (legal)
  • Assist as necessary with all legal documentary requirements in coordination with P&I Team Lead (All Companies)
  • Securing crew endorsement Post Medical treatment (All Companies)
  • Updating the crew profile in our systems regarding medical status of the seafarer.
  • Updating/Closing the Status of the crew medical cases.
  • Prepare, coordinate, submit billing to accounting department to ensure payment of all invoices.
  • Submission of an overview of Medical Cases on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Attends crew settlement when necessary.
  • Prepare and endorse Sick wage for a crew.
  • Assist the team lead with any other departmental duties assigned.
  • Work related experience in a Ship Management Company is a must

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Graduate
  • 3-5 years of experience in this field will be considered as an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Sharepoint
