Contribution and aim

The main purpose of this position is to:

  • Coordinate, arrange and follow-up of ship vetting inspections
  • Treat safety and environmental compliance as a top priority.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the company’s KPIs
  • Ensure screening request are being dealt with swiftly.

Key Responsibility and role (s)

  • Arrange Vetting inspections (e.g., CDI, SIRE, Terminal Inspection) in cooperation with Vetting Manager and/or Vessel Manager.
  • Coordinate operator comments to vetting inspections and submit into OCIMF/SIRE/CDI or inspecting company.
  • Update Vetting Observations and KPI.
  • Maintain record of all vetting inspections conducted.
  • Maintain record of all Port State Control conducted and upload to OCIMF repository.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly report to owners.
  • Update various questionnaires (VPQ, SIS3, Q88, Cepsa, Repsol, Galp etc.).
  • Assisting Vetting Manager as required.
  • Upload and update certificates in Q88.
  • Submit required documentations required in connection with screenings.
  • Arrange and book pre-vetting meetings

Required Qualification

  • Should demonstrate experience in Business Administration and Quality management
  • Should be structured and detailed oriented

Required Experience

  • Maritime background or experience from similar position is an advantage.
