Job Purpose

The Psychometrician is primarily responsible for the administration and evaluation of the psychological tests required for the pre-employment medical examination.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct psychological examination and counselling for the pre-employment examination of seafarers and other patients.

• Interpret and assess results such as personality skills and other psychological attributes.

• Ensure the accuracy and validity of exam.

• Extend consultation and counselling for patients referred through Telemedicine.

• Guide the patients on the procedure and provide instructions to ensure patient’s care and safety.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Must have at least 2 years’ experience in the same position

• Graduate of bachelor's degree in Psychology

• Must be a registered Psychometrician

• Knowledgeable in administering Psychological Test, Scoring Psychological Test and Evaluating Psychological Test.

• Excellent in counselling and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft applications

• Must have effective communication and comprehension skills
