Position Summary:

This Position maintains all public areas, crew Public Areas, outer deck (Pools and Jacuzzis) and all public restrooms, in a clean and orderly condition by performing essential duties and responsibilities described underneath. The Public Area attendants could be used in different areas on a rotation basis.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across all public decks and pool areas.
  • Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., steam cleaners, scrapers, brooms) and use proper cleaning chemicals.
  • Clean and sanitize public restrooms, elevators, carpets, upholstery, furniture, and deck furniture.
  • Assist with opening/closing pool areas and enforce lounge chair reservation policies.
  • Track and issue pool towels, and sanitize life jackets and shower heads as scheduled.
  • Ensure timely disposal of waste, collection of soiled items, and support food service areas when needed.
  • Provide general assistance to guests and participate in all safety drills and training sessions.
  • Monitor deck furniture condition and perform necessary maintenance or replacement.
  • Support embarkation/disembarkation by transporting guests’ luggage as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of cleaning or housekeeping experience, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Customer-service oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.


Physical & Language Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) – required for guest interaction and safety communication.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Full range of motion and sensory capabilities required for emergency duties and lifeboat operations.
