Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Solid background in instrumentation systems within industrial or energy projects.
- Hands-on knowledge of safety compliance and risk management in construction environments.
- Prior experience managing subcontractors and internal field teams.
- Familiar with preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
- Able to interpret engineering documentation and coordinate technical interfaces.
- Comfortable working with project schedules, resource planning, and progress tracking.
- Strong communication skills to lead team training and interact with vendors.
- Proficient in commissioning, system start-up, and performance monitoring.
- Experience using permit-to-work systems and safety authorisation procedures.
- Analytical mindset to optimise maintenance plans and operational resources.
- Proficiency in English.
Tasks:
- Assist in shaping and updating the project’s HSE strategy, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Monitor compliance across assigned scopes, ensuring all activities meet relevant safety and environmental standards.
- Participate in field inspections and safety rounds; contribute to investigations when events occur.
- Check that Commissioning and Start-up needs are properly integrated into engineering deliverables.
- Collaborate on project timelines, resource allocation, and coordination of startup phases.
- Track vendor timelines and site presence, ensuring alignment with commissioning milestones.
- Oversee the flow of completion and handover phases, flagging delays and proposing adjustments.
- Compile updates on commissioning and maintenance progress for internal reporting.
- Take part in building and updating the maintenance schedule, assigning teams, and preparing logistics.
- Manage the execution of equipment servicing: preventive, condition-based, and corrective actions.
- Guide and oversee vendor activity within designated site areas, ensuring task alignment and safety compliance.
- Approve job tickets and verify readiness for field execution in line with permit-to-work systems.
- Ensure the override tracking system for control protections is applied correctly and kept up to date.
- Lead training efforts for operations and maintenance personnel, escalating gaps for corrective action.
- Refine maintenance plans and spare part strategies using operational feedback and performance data.
