Information about the job:

• Job Title: Electrical Designer.
• Project: Onshore.
• Location: Qingdao, China.
• Rotation: 51 days off per year divided in 6 travels.
• Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly paid while working only.
• Start date: ASAP.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• EXPERIENCE IN PREPARING SLD & SCHEMATICS, MTOS, ELECTRICAL LAYOUTS, INSTALLATION DETAILS, PANEL SCHEDULES INTERCONNECTION DWGS.
• STRONG EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING 3D MODEL OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, TRAY, LIGHTING ETC WITH POPULATING OF LIBRARY / ATTRIBUTES AS PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS.
• STRONG EXPERIENCE IN PREPARATION OF WEIGHT CONTROL REPORTS FOR ELECTRICAL PART INCLUDING BULKS.
• EXPERIENCE IN PARTICIPATING 3D MODEL REVIEW WITH CLIENTS AND ABLE TO MANAGE INDIVIDUALLY WILL BE AN ADDED ADVANTAGE.
• MANDATORY TOOLS: AUTOCAD, SP3D, NAVIS, MS OFFICE.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration within project teams.

Tasks:

• Support electrical design and development in line with project standards.
• Analyse tender requirements and assist in preparing commercial proposals.
• Participate in design reviews and identify technical queries or deviations.
• Prepare material quantities (MTOs) and bills of quantities (BOQs) for estimation and procurement.
• Contribute to project execution by reviewing client documents and defining design requirements.
• Generate technical documentation for electrical bulk materials and systems.
• Check vendor documentation and assist in technical evaluation of bids.
• Develop electrical layouts, including cable routing, substations, grounding, and lighting, in 2D/3D.
• Size power cables and define typical installation details.
• Participate in 3D model reviews and coordinate with construction teams.
• Support installation, modifications, and as-built documentation during construction and start-up.
