Information about the job: 

  • Job Title: Engineering Watch Rating.
  • Project: Various Offshore Vessels.
  • Location: Worldwide.
  • Rotation: 165/30 days on/off or 56/28 days on/off.
  • Salary: Please confirm your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly.
  • Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).
  • Start date: TBC.
  • Insurance: Provided by the Company.


Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Experience as a Motorman on board construction vessels.
  • STCW required certificates: National CoC Reg. III/4, Personal survival techniques A-VI/1-1, Fire prevention and firefighting A-VI/1-2, Elementary first aid A-VI/1-3, Personal safety & social responsibilities A-VI/1-4, Proficiency in survival craft and rescue boat (other than fast rescue boat) A-VI/2-1, Advanced firefighting A-VI/3, Medical first aid A-VI/4-1, Security awareness A-VI/6-1, Seafarers with designated security duties A-VI/6-2.
  • Valid OPITO certificates: H2S awareness course, Basic offshore safety & emergency training, including HUET and CA-EBS.
  • Familiarity with safe operational procedures in manned or periodically unmanned engine spaces.
  • Ability to carry out assigned engineering tasks independently within scope of qualifications.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
  • Proficiency in English.


Tasks:

  • Join the on-duty engineer and support engine-room operations.
  • Monitor and assist with machinery and watchkeeping tasks.
  • Perform maintenance and routine checks as directed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and operational standards.
