IGF Course or BASIC Low Flash Point Fuel (LFF) IGF code (STCW Table A-V/3-1) - Mandatory to have before joining

IGF Advance - great advantage

2/E Diploma - while 3/E sea service is sufficient

Embark on a rewarding maritime journey as a 2nd Engineer onboard a Shuttle Tanker in the North Sea with OSM Thome. Take on the role of VOC Engineer and ensure efficient vessel operations in one of the most dynamic maritime environments.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize vapor recovery and processing systems.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of engine room equipment.
  • Coordinate with the chief engineer and bridge crew for smooth vessel operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Requirements:
  • Valid certification as a 2nd Engineer.
  • Experience with shuttle tankers or similar vessels.
  • Strong knowledge of vapor recovery systems.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
