Information about the job:

• Position: Engineering Watch Rating.
• Project: 6th Generation DP3 Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig.
• Location: Offshore Libya.
• Rotation: 28/28 (on/off).
• Salary: Please confirm your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly.
• Contract start: TBC (ASAP).
• Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).
• Insurances: Provided by the Company.

Requirements / Qualifications / Competence:

• Valid STCW certification in marine engineering.
• Certification compliant with National CoP:.

1. Regulation III/4 (Junior or Expert level), or
2. Regulation III/5 (Senior level)

• Completion of all mandatory training and endorsements per company training framework.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant sea service for Expert (Level 2) eligibility.
• Working proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Strong awareness of safe working practices in engine-room environments.

Tasks:

• Carry out engineering duties as assigned by the Engineer on Watch.
• Support engine-room watchkeeping in both manned and periodically unattended modes.
• Assist with daily operation, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of machinery.
• Perform maintenance and technical work within the limits of certification and authorization.
• Report equipment condition, defects, and completed work to supervising officers.
• Comply with safety rules, permits, and best practices at all times.
