Able Seafarer (AB) – Tanker Oil/Chemical – North Sea (Norway NIS flag)

**Description**
We are looking for an experienced Able Seafarer (AB) for an oil/chemical tanker trading in the North Sea under the Norwegian NIS flag. The vessel operates in a demanding and time-sensitive trade in Northern Europe.

**Key responsibilities**
- Carry out deck and cargo operations as directed by the officers
- Assist with mooring, unmooring, and anchoring operations
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and painting on deck
- Participate in cargo tank cleaning and related operations
- Stand watch on deck and assist with navigational duties as required
- Follow company and vessel safety procedures and work permits
- Take part in drills and emergency response duties

**Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as AB, preferably on oil/chemical tankers
- AB certificate in accordance with STCW
- Certificates in accordance with STCW for Oil and Chemical Tankers
- National Highest Grade Chemical Tanker course
- IGF Basic course (can be completed after approval)
- WEC/SHE course – e-learning (can be completed after approval)
- Experience with Framo systems, Scan Jet and Toftejorg/Butterworth tank cleaning machines is an advantage
- Experience from smaller vessels in North Europe and hectic trade is an advantage
- Good command of working maritime English
