Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer (C/E) on an offshore well stimulation vessel trading in Congo. Take full charge of the engine department, ensure safe and efficient operation of all machinery, and support smooth offshore operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the engine room team
• Operate, monitor, and maintain main engines and auxiliary machinery
• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Ensure safe and efficient fuel, lube oil, and consumables management
• Maintain technical records, logs, and reports as required
• Ensure compliance with class, flag, company, and safety procedures
• Support offshore well stimulation operations from the machinery side

Requirements

• Valid Chief Engineer (III/2) CoC, unlimited
• Previous experience as C/E on offshore or similar DP/support vessels preferred
• Strong knowledge of marine diesel engines, auxiliary systems, and PMS
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Valid STCW certificates, medical and offshore documents as per industry standards
• Strong safety mindset and ability to lead and train engine crew
