Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman on a passenger ferry trading in Europe. You will work as part of the deck crew, helping to keep the vessel safe, clean and ready for passengers on every voyage.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Assist with mooring and unmooring operations
  • Carry out deck maintenance, cleaning and painting
  • Handle mooring lines, fenders and gangways
  • Support navigation watch as lookout and helmsman when required
  • Assist with loading, unloading and safe movement of passengers
  • Follow all safety rules and take part in drills
• Requirements:
  • Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) / Deck Rating certificates
  • STCW basic safety training and valid medical certificate
  • Previous experience on passenger vessels or ferries is an advantage
  • Good English communication skills
  • Fit for sea service and willing to work in a mixed-nationality crew
