Join OSM Thome as Assistant Electrician on a passenger ferry in Europe. You will support safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems onboard, working closely with the vessel’s Electrician and technical team.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Assist in inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and systems
  • Support troubleshooting of faults in power distribution, lighting, and control systems
  • Help maintain and test emergency power and safety systems
  • Carry out routine checks, record keeping and basic reporting
  • Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work systems at all times
• Requirements:
  • Previous sea service or work experience as Assistant Electrician or similar role
  • Basic knowledge of marine electrical systems and equipment
  • Relevant electrical trade/technical education or certification
  • Good English communication skills
  • Team player with a safety-first mindset and willingness to learn
