Set sail as Chief Pastry on a passenger ferry in Europe with OSM Thome. Lead the pastry section, create high-quality desserts, and ensure a great experience for guests and crew.

  • Key responsibilities:
    • Plan and prepare breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts for passengers and crew
    • Lead and train pastry staff, ensuring smooth galley operations
    • Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation
    • Control stock, order supplies, and reduce waste
    • Work closely with the galley team to support menu planning and service
  • Requirements:
    • Proven experience as Chief Pastry or Senior Pastry Chef, preferably at sea or in large-scale catering
    • Formal pastry/bakery training or equivalent experience
    • Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
    • Good English communication skills
    • Valid seagoing documents and medicals as per flag and company requirements
