Join OSM Thome as Headwaiter on a passenger ferry in Europe. In this role you will lead the restaurant service team, secure smooth operations, and deliver a high standard of hospitality to passengers throughout the voyage.
- Key responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise and support the restaurant and dining room team
- Organize and oversee meal service for passengers and crew
- Ensure clean, safe and well-presented dining areas at all times
- Handle passenger requests and feedback in a professional manner
- Coordinate closely with galley and bar for efficient service
- Train and guide new and junior service staff
- Follow all safety, hygiene and company service standards
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Headwaiter or senior waiter on passenger vessels or ferries
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good English spoken and written; other European languages are an advantage
- Customer-focused attitude with polite and steady behavior at sea
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Valid seagoing documents and medicals as required
