Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) on an international bulk carrier. You will work closely with the deck crew, support safe cargo and ship operations, and help keep the vessel in good working order.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with mooring, unmooring, and anchoring operations
• Carry out deck maintenance, including chipping, painting, and cleaning
• Keep decks, passageways, and work areas clean and safe
• Assist with cargo operations as directed by officers and bosun
• Stand lookout and assist on bridge when required
• Follow safety rules and take part in drills and training

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman
• Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate
• Experience on bulk carriers preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for hard physical work and willing to follow instructions
• Team player with a safe and responsible attitude
