Join OSM Thome as a Fitter on our oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional deck/engine team, keeping the vessel in safe and reliable condition.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Carry out steel repairs, welding, cutting and fabrication work onboard
  • Maintain and repair deck and engine fittings, pipelines and structures
  • Assist with tank, cargo system and pump room maintenance
  • Support engine crew during overhauls and dry dock preparations
  • Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work system at all times
• Requirements:
  • Previous sea experience as Fitter, preferably on tanker vessels
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills (electric, gas, arc)
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
  • Good English communication and team-working skills
  • Willingness to work worldwide and follow OSM Thome safety standards
