Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on Product Tankers trading in India, the Middle East and Europe. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic systems onboard, supporting safe cargo and vessel operations.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation, distribution and automation systems
  • Maintain and repair navigation, communication and cargo control systems
  • Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and fault-finding on electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules, class and company standards for all electrical work
  • Support engine and deck teams during cargo operations, port calls and drills
  • Keep technical records and reports updated and assist during inspections and audits
• Requirements:
  • Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) CoC and STCW certificates as required
  • Recent seagoing experience as ETO, preferably on Product or other Tanker vessels
  • Good knowledge of marine electrical, electronic, automation and control systems
  • Good English communication skills
  • Medically fit for sea service and holding valid seafarer documents
