Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on our worldwide trading oil/chemical tankers. You will work closely with the Master and lead the deck team to ensure safe and efficient ship and cargo operations.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and supervise all deck operations and maintenance
• Oversee safe loading, carriage and discharge of oil/chemical cargoes
• Monitor stability, draft, trim and stress at all times
• Lead and train deck crew in safe working practices and emergency drills
• Ensure navigational watch is carried out according to company and international rules
• Maintain safety, environmental and ISM/ISPS standards on board

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Officer (unlimited) license
• Recent experience as C/O or 2/O on oil/chemical tankers
• Valid tanker endorsements (oil and chemical), STCW certificates and medical
• Good knowledge of international maritime rules and cargo handling procedures
• Strong leadership, communication and safety mindset
• Good English, written and spoken
