OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Master (CPT) for chemical tankers trading worldwide. If you are a strong leader with solid tanker background and safety mindset, we invite you to sail with us.
- Key responsibilities:
- Overall command of the vessel, crew and operations
- Ensure safe navigation and cargo operations for chemical cargoes
- Uphold ISM, ISPS, MARPOL and company procedures at all times
- Lead and train officers and crew, promote strong safety culture
- Plan voyages, manage fuel and stores, and maintain logs and reports
- Coordinate with charterers, agents and shore management
- Requirements:
- Valid Master Mariner (Unlimited) CoC
- Recent experience as Master or Chief Officer on chemical tankers
- Valid STCW certificates and tanker/chemical endorsements
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Strong leadership, communication and safety focus
- Medically fit for worldwide sea service
