OSM Thome is looking for a motivated 3rd Officer Junior to join an offshore PSV operating in the UK sector. This is a good opportunity for a junior officer to build experience and grow a career at sea in a safe and professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with bridge watchkeeping and navigational duties as directed by senior officers
• Support cargo and deck operations, including offshore supply runs
• Carry out safety rounds, checks and maintenance of safety and lifesaving equipment
• Assist with drills, emergency preparedness and implementation of safety procedures
• Keep logs and records as required by the Master and Chief Officer

Requirements

• Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) CoC suitable for service on offshore vessels
• All required STCW certificates and medical fitness (including offshore medical, if applicable)
• Good spoken and written English
• Previous sea service in a junior officer or cadet role (offshore/PSV experience an advantage)
• Safety-minded, willing to learn and able to work well in a small offshore crew
