OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer for a chemical tanker trading worldwide. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer to keep all engine room machinery running safely and efficiently.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Chief Engineer in daily engine room operations and maintenance
• Operate and monitor main engine, auxiliaries, and related systems
• Plan and carry out routine and preventive maintenance
• Ensure safe bunkering and fuel/lube oil handling
• Maintain engine room logs, records, and reports
• Support safe cargo operations related to machinery when required
• Lead and guide engine room ratings

• Requirements:
• Valid 2nd Engineer CoC (unlimited) suitable for chemical tankers
• Previous experience as 2/E on chemical or product tankers
• All required STCW certificates and tanker/chemical endorsements
• Good English communication skills
• Medically fit for sea service
