Ordinary Seaman (OS) – Tanker (Oil/Chemical) – Worldwide

Description
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Ordinary Seaman to join our oil/chemical tanker fleet trading worldwide. The vessel is Singapore-flagged and the joining port will be advised (TBA).

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Assist with mooring and anchoring operations
- Assist with cargo operations as directed by officers
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge as required
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Support general deck duties and housekeeping

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years sea service as OS, preferably on tankers
- Proven tanker (oil/chemical) experience
- Valid STCW certificates relevant to rank and vessel type
- Valid US visa suitable for seafarers’ travel
- Medically fit for sea service
- Good command of English for shipboard communication
