We are looking for an experienced Bosun to join our offshore CSOV operation in France. You will work closely with the deck crew and officers to keep all deck and cargo operations safe, efficient and shipshape.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise deck ratings during daily work and offshore operations
• Organize and carry out maintenance on deck, hull, mooring gear and deck machinery
• Assist with gangway, crane and cargo handling operations as required
• Ensure safe mooring, unmooring and anchor handling procedures
• Keep deck areas, storerooms and equipment clean, safe and in good order
• Follow all safety procedures and report any near misses or defects

Requirements

• Proven sea service as Bosun or senior AB on offshore vessels, preferably CSOV or similar
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness in accordance with international standards
• Strong knowledge of seamanship, mooring, rigging and deck equipment
• Good spoken English; ability to work in an international crew
• Safety-minded, hands-on, and able to lead by example on deck
