Second Officer (Navigation)
Join Our Team at Sea
We are looking for a motivated Second Officer with strong navigational skills to join our vessel. This is an opportunity to be part of a professional maritime team, where safety, precision, and teamwork are at the core of daily operations.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a safe navigational watch and ensure efficient vessel operations at sea and in port
• Plan and execute voyage plans using ECDIS (Transas), ensuring safe and optimized routes
• Manage and maintain navigational equipment, ensuring reliability and compliance
• Take responsibility for GMDSS operations, including Radio Logs in accordance with SOLAS
• Keep charts, publications, and ECDIS fully updated with latest Notices to Mariners
• Support onboard drills, training, and crew familiarization
• Verify crew certification and assist in maintaining regulatory compliance
• Maintain accurate records and planned maintenance in K-Fleet and Rescom systems
What We’re Looking For
• Valid Second Officer Certificate (STCW compliant)
• Experience with ECDIS (Transas) and GMDSS operations
• Good understanding of international maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, MLC 2006)
• Experience from cruise vessels preferred
