OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Officer for our oil/chemical tanker fleet trading worldwide. Sail with a solid, safety-focused company and take a leading role on deck and in cargo operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead deck crew and ensure safe, efficient deck operations
• Plan and supervise cargo loading, discharging, and tank cleaning
• Maintain and monitor stability, ballast, and draft conditions
• Oversee ISM, vetting, and safety procedures on board
• Ensure proper maintenance of deck equipment and cargo gear
• Assist the Master with navigation, watchkeeping, and ship management

Requirements

• Valid Chief Officer license (STCW II/2) for tanker vessels
• Recent experience as Chief Officer or 1/O on oil/chemical tankers
• Valid tanker endorsements (oil/chemical), STCW certificates, and medical
• Strong cargo handling and tank cleaning experience
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety mindset and leadership skills on deck
