Join OSM Thome as a Gas Engineer onboard our LPG semi-pressurized tanker fleet trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional team, ensuring safe and efficient cargo operations and gas plant performance at sea.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain cargo and gas handling systems
• Carry out routine checks on compressors, reliquefaction plant and associated equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair gas system faults to minimize downtime
• Assist with cargo loading, discharging and tank preparation operations
• Follow all safety procedures, permits to work and company guidelines
• Prepare technical reports and keep maintenance records up to date

Requirements

• Previous experience as Gas Engineer or equivalent on LPG / gas tankers
• Valid STCW certificates and tanker endorsements as per rank
• Good knowledge of LPG cargo handling and gas plant operations
• Strong safety mindset and good English communication skills
• Fit for duty and willing to work worldwide on a rotation basis
