Information about the job:
- Job Title: Contract Manager.
- Projects: Onshore.
- Location: Mozambique, Afungi.
- Rotation: 90/21 days on/off.
- Contract: 12 months (renewable).
- Salary: USD 5'200 per month (paid also while on leave).
- Overtime: Applicable.
- Insurances: Provided by the company.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in marine, coastal, or port-related engineering projects.
- Prior involvement in oil & gas infrastructure; exposure to LNG facilities is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of marine structures such as jetties, breakwaters, quay walls, and berthing systems.
- Familiarity with relevant international design standards and safety practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Strong coordination and communication skills for multidisciplinary project environments.
- Competence in engineering software and standard office tools.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and project timelines.
Tasks:
- Support the design, review, and execution of marine and coastal engineering works.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Monitor construction activities to verify compliance with technical and safety requirements.
- Review engineering deliverables, including drawings, calculations, and method statements.
- Assist in resolving on-site technical challenges and proposing practical solutions.
- Contribute to planning, scheduling, and progress tracking of maritime projects.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning activities as required.
