We are looking for an experienced Pumpman to join our oil/chemical tanker trading in Europe. You will be part of a professional deck team, securing safe cargo handling and tank maintenance to the highest standards.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain cargo pumps and associated piping systems
- Assist with cargo loading, discharging and tank change-overs
- Carry out cleaning, gas freeing and preparation of cargo tanks
- Perform routine inspections and basic repairs of cargo equipment
- Support deck crew with general maintenance and safety routines
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Pumpman on oil/chemical tankers
- Valid STCW certificates and relevant tanker endorsements
- Good knowledge of cargo operations and safety procedures
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Good English communication skills
