Join OSM Thome as a 3rd Engineer on a shuttle tanker trading in Europe. In this role you will support safe and efficient engine room operations, keep machinery in good working order, and help ensure reliable vessel performance on every voyage.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in operating, monitoring and maintaining main and auxiliary engines and machinery
• Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting in the engine room
• Monitor fuel, lube oil, cooling water and other critical systems
• Keep accurate engine room logs and maintenance records
• Follow safety, environmental and company procedures at all times
• Work closely with the engineering team and support emergency drills

Requirements

• Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or higher) STCW license
• Experience on tankers; shuttle tanker experience is an advantage
• All mandatory STCW certificates and valid seafarer medical
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for teamwork, safety-minded and willing to learn
