We are looking for an experienced 3rd Engineer for an offshore construction vessel in UK waters. This is a good opportunity for a hands-on engineer who wants to work in a safe, professional, and well-managed engine room.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the 2nd and Chief Engineer with operation and maintenance of main engines and auxiliary machinery
- Carry out routine inspections, watchkeeping duties, and machinery checks
- Perform planned maintenance and troubleshooting on engine room systems
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and statutory rules
- Keep engine room logs and records up to date
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW 3rd Engineer CoC, appropriate for vessel and trading area
- Previous experience as 3/E, preferably on offshore or construction vessels
- All required STCW certificates and valid medical (ENG1 or equivalent)
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team
