Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a chemical tanker trading worldwide. We are looking for a hands-on, safety-focused leader to support the Master, manage deck operations, and ensure smooth and efficient voyages.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Master in safe navigation and ship management
- Plan and oversee cargo operations for chemical cargoes
- Lead and supervise deck crew in day-to-day work
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, ISM, and environmental rules
- Maintain deck, cargo gear, and safety equipment in good order
- Prepare and update cargo plans, stability, and ballast operations
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer license (unlimited)
- Recent experience as C/O on chemical tankers
- Valid tanker and advanced chemical tanker endorsements
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and safety mindset
- Medically fit for sea service with valid offshore/sea medical
