OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to work on board a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems on board, supporting the deck and engine teams to keep the vessel running safely and efficiently.

• Key responsibilities:
• Operate, maintain and repair all electrical, electronic and automation systems on board
• Carry out fault finding and troubleshooting on power generation and distribution systems
• Maintain and test navigation, communication and cargo handling equipment
• Plan and perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance
• Support safe operations and report defects, hazards and near misses
• Keep maintenance records updated in the planned maintenance system

• Requirements:
• Valid ETO CoC and all mandatory STCW certificates
• Sea service experience as ETO, preferably on bulk carriers
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems
• Good English communication skills
• Candidate must have experience in Wartsila RT Flex
• Must have valid STCW including BT PSSR training
• Prefers with valid US VIsa.
