Join OSM Thome as 3rd Officer on a car carrier trading worldwide. You will be part of the deck team, supporting safe navigation, cargo operations and overall vessel safety on international voyages.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Stand navigational watch as OOW in line with company and COLREG requirements
  • Assist with voyage planning, chart and publication corrections
  • Support safe cargo operations, including loading and discharging vehicles
  • Carry out safety rounds, inspections and maintenance as assigned
  • Assist with drills, safety equipment checks and ISM/ISPS compliance
  • Prepare and update logbooks and other deck documentation
• Requirements:
  • Valid 3rd Officer / OICNW CoC meeting STCW requirements
  • All mandatory STCW certificates and valid Seaman’s Book
  • Good watchkeeping and navigational skills
  • Previous car carrier or Ro-Ro experience preferred
  • Good English communication skills
  • Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
