Join OSM Thome as Electrician (ELEC) on an Offshore Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel in Argentina. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical systems and equipment onboard, supporting smooth and efficient vessel operations.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all electrical systems and equipment onboard
- Carry out routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance
- Support safe start-up, running, and shutdown of vessel equipment
- Keep accurate maintenance records and report defects or abnormalities
- Follow vessel safety procedures and assist during drills and emergencies
Requirements
- Relevant marine electrician qualification and valid seagoing certificates
- Experience as Electrician on offshore vessels, preferably AHTS
- HUET/BOSIET/FOET Opito Approved + CA-EBS on hand
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems and safety standards
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty and willing to work in offshore rotation
