Join OSM Thome as Motorman / Oiler on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. Work with an experienced engine team, keeping all machinery running safely and efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist Engine Officers with operation and maintenance of main engine and auxiliaries
- Carry out routine checks, greasing, cleaning and basic repairs
- Monitor machinery parameters and report any abnormalities
- Keep engine room and related spaces clean and in safe condition
- Follow all safety and pollution-prevention procedures and instructions
- Requirements:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler STCW certification and seaman’s documents
- Tanker experience, preferably on oil/chemical tankers
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to learn
